Mood
One direction per run, about 20 seconds.

Labelkiln writes the name lockup, flavor line, and back story, paints one direction, sets the type, and wraps it on the can. Claims only ever come from what you type.

Describe it.

One line about the product, the mood, and the shelf you want to win. Add the claims you can stand behind. Labelkiln reads it like a brief.

The shelf

Up close, it is a label.

Labelkiln judges every direction where it will actually live: next to fourteen other cans under flat store light. Contrast, scale, and one clear idea do the work.

Built AI-native

Language models write it. Image models paint it. We wrap it on the real thing.

Without modern models there is no Labelkiln: coherent copy and on-brand art for a real product are the product. The language side is model-agnostic; the art comes from the current OpenAI image model.

How the AI works

From founders

“We walked into our first buyer meeting with three carton directions on a laptop and spun them right there. She picked the retro one in under a minute. That used to be a month of proofs.”
Priya Raman / Founder, Ridgeloaf Granola
“The flat art came out at the exact can wrap size with bleed. Our printer had one question, and it was about the barcode, which is exactly the part Labelkiln told us to check.”
Marcus Bell / Co-founder, Northbound Cold Brew

Questions

Asked often.

Will Labelkiln add claims like organic or gluten free?

Never. Front-of-pack claims come only from what you type, word for word. The copy model is instructed not to invent claims, and every reply is checked on our server: any sentence that introduces a regulated term you did not supply is removed before you see it.

Is the flat art really print-ready?

It is set at the exact dieline size for the format, at 300 DPI, with 3 mm of bleed and crop marks in the PDF. Your printer will still need the regulated elements, which Labelkiln leaves as a marked area for you: nutrition panel, ingredients, allergens, net contents, barcode, and legal text. Verify those before you print.

Which AI models do you use?

Label art comes from the current OpenAI image model. The copy layer is model-agnostic: we route to OpenAI or Anthropic models in order and validate every answer against a strict schema, so we can swap models without changing your results format.

Can I use my own brand name, colors, and logo?

Yes. Set up a brand kit with your name, colors, display face, logo, and voice notes. New directions use them, and your logo is placed on the front panel. Brand assets stay private to your workspace and you can export or delete them at any time.

Does generated art contain other brands or logos?

The image model is asked for art only: no text, no logos, no trademarks. Typography is set by Labelkiln from your copy, never baked into the art. If something looks like a real mark, generate again and tell us so we can tighten the prompt.

What does the free plan include?

One product, one label direction on the 12 oz can, a watermarked mockup, and the copy sheet. Upgrade to Studio for unlimited directions, the carton and pouch, and print-ready exports. Prices are in US dollars and you can cancel at any time.
