My label text looks small on the can
The front panel is 33 percent of the wrap, which is what a shopper sees head-on. Shorten the product name or flavor line, or switch to the bold direction, which sets the name larger. The 16 oz tallboy also gives you more height.
The 3D view is blank or slow
Labelkiln needs WebGL. Turn on hardware acceleration in your browser settings, close other heavy tabs, and reload. If your device still struggles, the homepage falls back to rendered stills and exports keep working.
How do I get the dieline for my printer
Use Print PDF with bleed. It contains the art at trim size plus 3 mm bleed, crop marks, and fold ticks for cartons and pouches. Compare it with the dieline your printer provides; adjust if their can height or glue flap differs.
Why is my mockup watermarked
Free plans export watermarked mockups. Studio and Agency export clean transparent PNGs at twice the screen resolution.
Can I change the claims after generating
Yes. Edit the front claims in the copy editor; the label re-sets instantly. Claims always stay exactly as you type them.
Will Labelkiln add claims like organic or gluten free?
Never. Front-of-pack claims come only from what you type, word for word. The copy model is instructed not to invent claims, and every reply is checked on our server: any sentence that introduces a regulated term you did not supply is removed before you see it.
Is the flat art really print-ready?
It is set at the exact dieline size for the format, at 300 DPI, with 3 mm of bleed and crop marks in the PDF. Your printer will still need the regulated elements, which Labelkiln leaves as a marked area for you: nutrition panel, ingredients, allergens, net contents, barcode, and legal text. Verify those before you print.
Which AI models do you use?
Label art comes from the current OpenAI image model. The copy layer is model-agnostic: we route to OpenAI or Anthropic models in order and validate every answer against a strict schema, so we can swap models without changing your results format.
Can I use my own brand name, colors, and logo?
Yes. Set up a brand kit with your name, colors, display face, logo, and voice notes. New directions use them, and your logo is placed on the front panel. Brand assets stay private to your workspace and you can export or delete them at any time.
Does generated art contain other brands or logos?
The image model is asked for art only: no text, no logos, no trademarks. Typography is set by Labelkiln from your copy, never baked into the art. If something looks like a real mark, generate again and tell us so we can tighten the prompt.
What does the free plan include?
One product, one label direction on the 12 oz can, a watermarked mockup, and the copy sheet. Upgrade to Studio for unlimited directions, the carton and pouch, and print-ready exports. Prices are in US dollars and you can cancel at any time.
How long does a direction take?
Copy usually lands in a few seconds and art in about 15 to 30 seconds. Editing copy afterwards is instant because type is set in your browser and re-wrapped on the object.
Who owns the designs?
You do. Everything you generate in your workspace is yours to use commercially, subject to the Terms. We do not use your brand assets or projects to train models.
